1) Status, warning light in the combined instrument.
When a fault occurs the DTC is stored and after a set
time interval the warning light begins to flash. If the
fault is intermittent and aborts, the warning light will
go out after the ignition has been turned on and off a
certain number of times, but the diagnostic trouble
code (DTC) will remain. The DTC should be
checked.
2) MIL light indication. (Only certain markets, USA
and Canada
3) Only GROUP II control modules
4) Only for as long as the temperature remains high.
