Welcome back, Commander.

Thank you for purchasing Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight.
This ReadMe file contains information that may be of use before
proceeding to battle.

System Requirements

Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight requires DirectX 9.0c. You 
can install DirectX 9.0c by following the onscreen prompts during
the game's installation process.

MINIMUM SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS:

Required	- Internet connection required to install and play.
OS              - Windows XP SP3 / Vista SP1 / Windows 7
Processor       ? Intel Core 2 or better / AMD 64 X2 or better
Memory          ? 1 GB for XP / 1.5 GB for Vista and Windows 7

Video Card      ? 256MB RAM with support for shader model 3*

*Supported video cards: Nvidia GeForce 6800 or better, ATI Radeon 
X1600 or better. Laptop versions of these chipsets may work but are

Note: While you will be able to play Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian 
Twilight with the specifications above, play experience may improve 
if you have additional RAM above the requirement. Please refer

Installation Instructions
==================================================================

IMPORTANT: Before running Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight, 
please be sure you have the latest drivers for both your video 
card and your sound card installed. An outdated video or sound 
driver can lead to slow and choppy gameplay, or in some cases can 
prevent the game from running at all. You can download the 
appropriate drivers from your video and sound card manufacturers' 
Web site. 

You may not be able to install Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight
if you are not logged in as an administrator in Windows. See the
Administrator Privileges section below for assistance.

Avoid running any other programs in the background, as this may
conflict with the game. This includes any virus-protection 
program that you have running, which can hinder performance.

To install Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight in Windows XP, 
Windows Vista, or Windows 7:

  1. Insert the Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight disc into your
  DVD-ROM drive.

     If the disc does not automatically launch when inserted in
     the drive, you may have the AutoPlay feature disabled. To
     enable AutoPlay, please consult your Windows user manual.

     If you are unable or do not wish to activate AutoPlay, 
     please browse to the location of the Command & Conquer 4 
     Tiberian Twilight DVD-ROM using Windows Explorer, and 
     double-click the "EASetup.exe" application in the root 
     directory.

  2. Follow the instructions that appear.
	 
  3. Please note that you must register an account at 
  http://www.ea.com in order the play the game online.

If you are having difficulties with the registration code provided
with Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight, or require any other type
of technical support, please click on the "Technical Support"
button on the game's AutoPlay menu. You will need to register your
product for full customer support.

Uninstalling
==================================================================

To uninstall Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight if your operating
system is Windows XP:

  1. Click the "Start" button in the Windows taskbar.
  2. Click "Control Panel" in the Start menu.
  3. Double-click "Add or Remove Programs".
  4. Click "Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight" in the program
  list and click the "Remove" button next to its name.
  5. Follow the instructions that appear.

To uninstall Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight if your operating
system is Windows Vista/Windows 7:

  1. Click the "Start" button in the Windows taskbar.
  2. Click "Control Panel" in the Start menu.
  3. Click "Uninstall a program" under the "Programs" heading.
  4. Double-click "Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight" in the 
  program list.
  5. Follow the instructions that appear.

Copy Protection

Below are some facts regarding Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight 
Authentication:

  1. Your serial number will be authenticated online after 
     logging in to your EA Account in the Command and Conquer 4
     Tiberian Twilight Launcher for the first time.
  2. You must log in with a valid account and password to play,
     and you must be connected to the internet at all times.
  3. There is no install limit, however you may only be logged in to
     your account on one machine at a time.

Troubleshooting

Please be aware that an outdated video driver or sound driver can 
lead to slow and choppy game-play, or in some cases can prevent 
the game from running at all. To ensure an enjoyable experience 
with this game, be sure that you have the most recent video and 
sound drivers installed. These drivers are typically available 
for download from your system or hardware manufacturer's Web 
site. If you are not sure what type of video or sound card you 
have, or you need assistance with updating the drivers on your 
system, please refer to the documentation that came with your 
system or peripheral.

Troubleshooting - Voice 
==================================================================

Why do I sound loud or distorted to other people?
You may find that some other programs require you to turn on the 
+10 mic boost in your Windows audio preferences. Voice does not 
require this and you may need to disable it. To disable +10 mic boost 
enter your Windows volume control panel. Make sure the "Advanced 
Controls" option is selected in the "Options" menu. After this is 
selected you will need to select Options -> Properties from the menu 
and select the "Recording" option. While there, make sure that 
"Show Microphone" is checked, then click "OK". You will see an 
"Advanced" button below your microphone volume slider. Click this 
button and uncheck the +10 mic boost box from the following screen.

What ports does Voice use?
By default, Voice uses UDP port 5060, 5062 and 3478.
