Materials Required:
Scraps of ribbon or fabric: Deep Green
and Red & Green patterned.
Metallic Gold thread.
Scrap of thin Gold sparkly ribbon.
Gold and Red glitter glue.
Tracing paper.
12mm Wide double sided tape.
Shiny Gold corrugated paper scrap.
Happy Christmas peel off sticker.
Card mount: SF07U Pale Cream.
To Make The Card:
Place the tracing paper over the dia-
gram below and trace the design onto
it. Turn the corrugated paper face down
and place the tracing face down over it.
Retrace over the lines to transfer them
and cut out the shape. Stick a strip of
double sided tape on the back of the piece leav-
ing the backing in place for now.
lay it onto the card so that the
end is just beneath the lower line
and a little to the left of centre,
hold in place with a dab of gold
glitter glue on the end. Bring the
thread up curving slightly so that
it is central by the time it reaches
the top line, dab with glitter glue
approx. 4mm above the top line.
Peel the backing from the candle
and stick onto the card on the marked line, the
top of the ribbon will cover the top marked line.
Add threads as desired, begin each just below
the marked line, dabbing gold glitter glue onto
points of each curve to keep it in place. Peel the
backing off the candle hold-
er and stick onto the card.
Peel the backing from
the leaves and position as
desired, add gold glitter
veins to the leaves and red
glitter berries. Place a peel
off greeting in the corner
to finish.
Cut a piece of thin gold ribbon to approx.
70mm long and fold in half. Use a small piece of
double sided tape inside the ribbon to keep it
neatly folded and another piece on one outer
side, leaving the backing in place on this piece.
Place a strip of double sided tape along the
back of each piece of green and green patterned
ribbon or fabric, leave the backing strip in place.
Cut holly leaf shapes from the ribbon making a
mixture of plain and patterned leaves.
Position the candle holder onto the card,
move it down just a millimetre or two and mark
the top edge lightly with a pencil. Lay the candle
onto the card with the lower edge on the line,
move it down just a
millimetre or two and
lightly mark the top
edge.
To make the candle
flame, take a short
