SG-APC1
-------

This synth is based on the "Atari Punk Console", as shown here: http://compiler.kaustic.net/machines/apc.html

The basic idea is a frequency-adjustable square wave oscillator driving a monostable with adjustable pulse length. The most interesting sounds come from changing these controls in real-time.

This VSTi adds a couple of features to the basic design- a basic MIDI-controlled gate (optional), and a highpass filter.

Controls:
---------

Main controls:

freq: this controls the frequency of the oscillator which drives the pulse generator.

pulse length: like it says, length of the generated pulse.

volume: you guessed it- this one sets the output volume.

HPF:

cut: sets the cutoff frequency of the highpass filter, in hertz.

res: sets the resonance of the highpass filter

MIDI:

MIDI gate: turns the gate off (default) or on. When on, the synth will only emit sound when it receives a MIDI note on message. Note that which MIDI note it receives has no effect on the sound, it only provides a basic on/off gate.

channel: allows you to set the gate to respond to either one specific MIDI channel, or all of them.
