I made this little Christmas ornament today. It is a very basic pattern with a ton of versions floating around but here is how I made mine...

MATERIALS
+ yarn
+ 9mm safety eyes, pink
+ fiberfill
+ black thread
+ Size F crochet hook

HEAD
R1 - (Use magic loop 6 technique OR...) Ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hook (6 sts)
R2 - *2 sc in next st* repeat 6 times (12 sts)
R3 - *1 sc, 2 sc in next st* repeat 6 times (18 sts)
R4 - *2 sc, 2 sc in next st* repeat 6 times (24 sts)
R5 - *3 sc, 2 sc in next st* repeat 6 times (30 sts)
R6-R10 - Sc around (30 sts)
R11 - *3 sc, dec*  repeat 6 times (24 sts)
R12 - *2 sc, dec*  repeat 6 times (18 sts)
R13 - *1 sc, dec*  repeat 6 times (12 sts)
At this point attach 9mm safety eyes and stuff firmly.
R14 - Dec around 6 times (6 sts)
Cut yarn leaving tail, fasten off, weave in ends.

ARMS
The arms are worked directly from the body so you don't have to go back to sew them on. Repeat this step 8 times.

On underside of head draw up a loop of yarn. Ch 12. 3 sc in second ch from hook, *3 sc in next st* 4 times, sc across untill end, fasten off, weave in ends.

Thread about 8 inches of embroidery floss through the top of the head so you can hang it from Christmas tree.

Enjoy!
