Author Biographies
Fe Liza Bencosme was
born in New York City
and raised between her
parents’ hometowns in
the Dominican Repub-
lic and St. Croix in the
US Virgin Islands. A
love for a good adven-
ture has taken her
around the world,
mostly on extended cultural explorations throughout Eu-
rope, Asia, North Africa, and the Middle East. Since 2003,
she has resided in the Dominican capital of Santo
Domingo, where she has written about the country, its
customs, and its people for a variety of travel publica-
tions.
Clark Norton is a veteran travel
writer and screenwriter who has
visited nearly 100 countries on six
continents and chronicled his
journeys to many of them for a
wide range of international, na-
tional, and regional publications.
After growing up in the Midwest,
he has lived in California and New
York, where he now resides with
his wife, Catharine. He travels fre-
quently to the Dominican Repub-
lic.
