from the uppermost
side of the triangle.
RIGHT THREAD DOES THE WORK:

¤Left thread passes back through last bead

Seed Beads at the Points (Vertices)

For the starting unit , string 6 beads: Seed Bead (SB), Bead, SB, Bead, SB, Bead. The other thread end
passes back through last bead. Center the triangle in the middle of thread. For subsequent units :
1. String a Seed Bead
on each thread
or
2. String Bead, SB, Bead. Other
thread passes back though last bead
or
RIGHT THREAD DOES THE WORK (Right-handed weave):
¤String 1 Seed Bead (SB) on each thread
¤Right thread strings Bead, SB, Bead OR passes through Bead, strings SB, Bead
¤Left thread passes back through last Bead
¤ Notice how the seed beads function simply as thread covers or joints
between the larger beads, and are not passed through again.
LEFT THREAD DOES THE WORK (Left-handed weave):
¤String 1 Seed Bead (SB) on each thread
¤Left thread strings Bead, SB, Bead OR passes through Bead, strings SB, Bead
¤Right thread passes back thru last Bead

Single Needle

For the starting unit, string 3 beads, pass through first
2 beads again. Notice that the thread emerges from a
bead on either on the left or right side of the triangle,
not through the point.
For convenience, envision the triangle rotated 90 degrees and
consider the ÑbaseÒ to be on the side. At the end of any unit,
the thread will emerge from the bead on the uppermost side of
the triangle.
Subsequent units are worked either clockwise or
counterclockwise. String 2 beads (or, if adding a row
alongside another, pass through 1 & string 1), then pass
needle around through beads until it emerges from the
bead on the top side of the triangle.
Note that unlike the two-thread method, where the
choice for making a subsequent unit is either a left-
handed or a right-handed weave, when using a single
needle there are 4 possible choices.
Note also that when stringing seed beads at the triangle
points, when using a single needle some of the seed
beads will also have to be passed through again.
