Look at the following conversation between two friends. Some of the language that they are using is too formal. Suggest a more appropriate alternative.

 

Tom: Wow! Inspect that car over there. It looks great.

Jon: You’re right. It’s just what I require. I’ve decided not to retain my present one.

Tom: Can you afford to purchase it?

Jon: Oh yeah. I just commenced a new job.

Tom: Does it pay well?

Jon: I’ll say. Let me inform you that it’s the best remunerated job I’ve ever had.
