About the Author
Jef McNeil has been working in the Internet Services industry for over 10 years. He cut
his teeth during the late 90's Internet boom and has been developing sotware for Unix and
Unix-lavored systems ever since. Jef has been a full-ime Python developer for the beter
half of that ime and has professional experience with a collecion of other languages,
including C, Java, and Perl. He takes an interest in systems administraion and server
automaion problems. Jef recently joined Google and has had the pleasure of working with
some very talented individuals.
I'd like to above all thank Julie, Savannah, Phoebe, Maya, and Trixie for
allowing me to lock myself in the oice every night for months. The
