You are about to embark on an incredible journey that will enable you
to make powerful changes in your life. The raw food diet is one of the
best-kept secrets in the path to creating optimal health, emotional
balance and spiritual transformation.
Not only is the raw food diet the key to vibrant health but also your
taste buds will awaken to a whole new spectrum of flavors. The raw
food diet is all about abundance and you certainly should never feel
like you are depriving yourself.
In this booklet you will find some of my favorite raw food recipes to
help get you started on your path to personal transformation.
Many of the recipes require a blender. Any blender will be sufficient
however I recommend the Vita-Mix blender for best results, especially
if you wish to make raw ice cream. A spiralizer will also come in handy
for making raw spaghetti and noodles.
Later if you commit to the raw food diet as a long term lifestyle you
may decide to invest in a good quality juicer such as the Omega

Juicer , a food processor a nd a dehydrator but these items are not
essential when you are first starting out.

Breakfast
I like to begin every day with a green smoothie because it gets me off
to a great start due to the alkalizing effect and high mineral content
of leafy green vegetables. When your first meal of the day is a green
smoothie this will significantly reduce your cravings for unhealthy
foods later in the day. Another good option for breakfast is a simple
fruit salad or fruit smoothie.
If you are just starting out with a raw food diet a smoothie may not be
enough to sustain your energy until you adjust to eating a lighter diet.
In that case I recommend that you wait at least 30 minutes after your
smoothie and then either have another portion of fruit, a handful of
raw almonds soaked overnight or a smaller portion of what you
usually eat for breakfast.
The Green Apple Porridge is more nutritionally concentrated than a
simple green smoothie and is another possible choice for breakfast.
You could also try making raw muesli with chopped apple or pear, raw
nuts and seeds, dried fruit and almond milk.

Lunch
I will often have another green smoothie or a simple salad of greens
and fruit with a light dressing for lunch. If you would like something
more filling you can try a raw dip such as guacamole, raw hummus or a
nut pate with raw vegetables such as jicama, red and yellow peppers
or cucumber.
Raw blended soups are another option as they are very nourishing
but also light so that your energy will not be bypassed in digestion
during the more active part of the day.
A large green salad is also great choice for lunch and you can add
some avocado, olives, raw nuts or seeds to make it more substantial if
you like. There are an endless variety of possible salad combinations
and you are limited only by your imagination.
Some of my favorites include raw Caesar salad, greens with apple,
walnut and raisins, mixed lettuce with fresh tomato and kalamata
olives, garden salad with raw ranch dressing and Thai green mango
salad.
