This is a cardboard model of the Shuttlepod El-Baz as seen on Star Trek - the next generation. This model was constructed by Ulrich Prahn. He made the design and most of the decorations. I made some additional decorations and the conversion to postscript. I also wrote the instructions, and since I'm not a native English speaking person, they probably look kind of awkward. We gathered the data for this model mainly from the blueprint and the pictures of the shuttlepod, which are included in Starlog's "Star Trek - The Next Generation Technical Jounal". We also used a videotape of the TNG episode "Time Squared". The copyright to this layout is by Ulrich and me. Please make as many copies and printouts as you wish and give them to friends and acqaintances. Please do NOT give away copies of the Postscript files without the instructions and this readme text! The cormmercialization of this model is explicitely FORBIDDEN!! That means you are NOT allowed to make profit from selling the files or printed sheets! Included in the package are the following files: - readme.txt: This readme-file - liesmich.txt: German version of readme.txt - instruct.txt: Instructions on how to build your shuttle. - anleitng.txt: German Version of instruct.txt - el-baz1.ps and el-baz2.ps: The postscript files of the two sheets of the shuttle model - el-baz.jpg: A JPG picture of the original shuttle from the Star Trek - The Next Generation tv show. It's a colour scan of the Impel trading card #058: Shuttlepods - bptop.gif and bpside.gif: Top and side view of the shuttle in blueprint style. This was scanned from the blueprint in the Starlog publication "The Official Magazine: Star Trek - The Next Generation Technical Journal" We would very much like to hear from you what you think of this model.
