Welcome to the Flip4Mac® WMV installer. You will be guided through the steps necessary to install these QuickTime™ components. Flip4Mac WMV allows you to play, import and export Windows Media® files from most QuickTime applications.
Flip4Mac WMV includes browser plug-ins that allow you to play Windows Media streams within Safari and other web browsers. These are installed by default. To disable their installation, click the Customize button on the Installation Type pane and uncheck the Web Browser Support option.
Windows Media playback is always enabled, while other features are available in trial mode until you purchase an upgrade. Select Flip4Mac WMV in the System Preferences to purchase or activate a serial number.
This installer also includes a browser plug-in for Microsoft® Silverlight™, which allows you to play Smooth Streaming video content. This is installed by default. To disable its installation, click the Customize button on the Installation Type pane and uncheck the Microsoft Silverlight Plug-in option.
