Ashampoo Illuminator 1.53
-------------------------
Ashampoo Illuminator is a competent image viewer that comes with some rather unique features.
The program operates like Windows Explorer, but has three panes. The left pane is used for browsing folders and drives, while the right displays the contents of a selected folder. A third optional pane displays a selected image.
A conversion wizard helps you to resize, rotate and convert images, either singly or in batches. Images can be converted into JPG, TIF, BMP and PNG formats.
Images can be compiled into screensavers with basic transition effects, and these can be accompanied with audio (WAV, MP3, MID). Alternatively, use the neat SeeYa! function to create slideshows that can be accompanied by your own voice. Simply narrate into a microphone and personalise the slideshow.
The included BurnIt! Wizard lets you burn photo albums and images onto a CD in minutes.
A Quickview feature allows images to be previewed when double-clicked in Windows Explorer. They can also be resized via Quickview.
New features in version 1.52 include MP3 and video support, letting you view/play them directly from within Illuminator. An Easy Print Wizard lets you print images in full size, or as contact sheets with virtually any number of rows and columns.
Note: Some functions are only available in the registered version, although a free 30-day trial key can be requested in order to try them out.
