These are the drivers for Asus X50N = Asus F5ES (Entertainment System).

Below I'll provide laptop specifications, on which these drivers were tested, for you to check your own (though models are named identically, specifications sometimes vary "unpleasantly" greatly, including processor and several other components). These specifications are to be listed on one of the sides of a package (there's a special sticker), you'll easily find them.

CPU - Athlon 64 X2 TK53 (1.7Ghz)
HD - 120 Gb (5400rpm, SATA)
RAM - 1 Gb (DDR2 667)
WLAN - 802.11 b/g (AS)_M1
ODD - 8X DVD Super Multi DL

INSTALLATION TIPS
Simply run "setup" file in root of each of 4 folders embodied into this archive. Graphics and sound setup files are self-extracting ones, named accordingly to the driver description; wi-fi and chipset folders have "usual" setup.exe

After installing these components please check device manager: there may be two devices still showing the need in drivers (these are card reader and modem, which may occasionally appear to be missing their drivers though installation of chipset drivers had to manage those as well, but sometimes it fails to do so, I don't know why). Solution is simple - insert your Asus driver installation CD supplied in a package (though it's meant to support only Vista 32bit) and right click on those "yellow-icon" devices, choosing option "update driver" and proceeding with automatic installation (it will find needed drivers on that CD by itself, just let it perform driver search automatically).

These drivers, though being unofficial (you know, Asus doesn't provide XP drivers), are tested on several identical models (I mean Asus X50N of course). Everything works just great (for example, Need For Speed "Carbon", showing that graphics driver is doing it's job pretty well).

Hope these drivers help you :)

Best regards,
Puz
