Traveling around Poland
Podróżowanie po Polsce
My name is Patricia and I live in Gorlice, a small city in the south of Poland, near Nowy Sącz. I and my friend – Kathreen - want to travel around Poland so we will take a train to get to Cracow, the nearest big city. We always travel by train although my mother tells me that it is very dangerous when two girls travel by train alone. It is good that we are students because we travel half-fare, we pay only 50% for a ticket. In Cracow, we would like to see Wawel, beautiful castle and the old town. At about 8 p.m. we will take another train to Poznań. My friend’s aunt lives in Poznan so we will sleep at her place. Poznan is wonderful city so probably we will spend there more than two days. Then, we are planning to go Mielno, a little seaside near Koszalin. We don’t have a lot of money so we will look for some cheap guest-house near the sea. If the weather is good, we will spend there about 5 days. I hope we will meet some handsome boys. At the moment we are both single. If we have money we will go to Gdansk and Sopot because we would like to see those two cities. As we never plan our trips, it is possible that we will not go there and will go somewhere else. Me and Kathreen want to come back to Gorlice after two weeks. We hope we will not run out of money quickly.
