Photocopy one worksheet per student
Using the worksheet:
• In Exercise 1 the students must write the titles under the correct headings.
This may stretch their vocabulary a little but will teach them to use word
clues.
• In Exercise 2 students connect column A and B together by drawing a line.
This is more difficult and is based on the listening on page 26 of the Pupil’s
Book.
• In Exercise 3 students need to match the sentences with the correct
vocabulary.

Tell students to invent their own book titles. Tell them that the titles must

• Tell the students to write the title on a big piece of paper.
• Now call out two student’s names. The first student stands up and says the
name of his/her book and the second student says what section it would go
under. For example, Student A says,
Your dog.
Student B replies,
Animals.
• Then call out another two students’ names and continue in this way.
