Aims:
Ø students are able to say simple greetings and answer the questions using “Yes” or “No”;
Ø students are able to name colour- green;
Ø students are able to listen and participate in children’s songs, dance and movement;
Ø students are able to understand simple instructions in English;

Ø present simple greetings: hello, bye-bye;
Ø name of colours: red, blue, green;
Ø classroom language- stand up, sit down, stretch, skip, jump clap hands, dance;
Personal aims:
Ø to encourage shy kids;
Anticipated problems:
Ø difficulties with revising the material- some kids know the answer and they answer without asking and some of them could have not a chance to speak;

Ø big “treehouse”- green tree with doors, where cat and kangaroo lives;

“Hello song”- the teacher with puppet is singing a song and students are singing with him.
The teacher mime voice of the cat saying “Hello” to every child. Students say “hello” and give him hand or hug.

Presentation
The teacher sits with children in a circle near to treehouse. He is revising what they remember from last lesson. He points the Cookie and asks: “Who is it?” and he answers with students “Yes, this is Cookie the cat”. He asks “What colour Cookie is?”. Students are answering.
He is doing the same thing with Lulu poster.
The teacher points to the treehouse and asks “What is it?”. He answers “Yes, this is the treehouse”. “What colour is it?”. He answers “Green” and students are repeating him.

Worksheet: the teacher shows the students picture in the book and ask them who and what is in the picture. He asks individually child and he is waiting for the answer. He asks “Point to the red colour”, “Point to the green colour”. The teacher demonstrate how make the path from Cookie to the treehouse.

The most effective part of the lesson was game to mime the tree, Cookie, etc.

I think that revising the material was the least effective.

No, there weren’t. I received information from every child.

I should revising material by using the games.
