RAMSave™ Technology
HALion 3 now offers RAMSave™, a new
feature created to keep in check the
RAM resources needed by even the
most extensive sample instruments.
With RAMSave™, HALion 3 dynamically
scans through an entire project, and
unloads any sample from the comput-
er’s RAM that isn’t needed. Sounds can
be reloaded to RAM instantly when
needed with a single mouse click. The
result is low RAM usage and faster
project load and save times, a boon for
pro users using large, intricate sampled
instruments such as orchestral combi
patches or large drum kits.
Modulation Madness
The new Alternate mode adds a range
of functions, including a special mode
that plays a different sample with slight
variations with each new Note On mes-
sage, introducing more spontaneity and
feeling. And while extensive modulation
functions are a must in any modern

Xphraze has been developed to of-

Xphraze is the first synthesizer to be
based on free-form and real-time auto-
mation of rhythm and sound. Instead of
having to be programmed into a se-
quencer, rhythmic phrases can be built

note or chord. Xphraze is built around
the song tempo; the Phrase Generator.
Envelopes and LFOs all follow the song
